Adam seems a lot like an ex-boyfriend I once catered to - it was definitely all about him and what he wanted. Just as it seems you are realizing, people like that are not worth it. Not only do I hope that you did welcome your gmom for the weekend, I hope that you soon find a way to either A) De-Adam your life, or B) Confront him on his irrational and unrealistic ways, and make a positive change (for you, at least, if not him).
