.oO(Sometimes I blur the edges.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 07 July 2009: Almost done... 10% is left in the kitchen. 5% being the last of the dishes getting washed right now, the other 5% being the microwave, toaster oven, toaster, and coffee maker. I'm not sure how exactly to pack those. At all. I'm down to 80% remaining for the bedroom - 50% being clothing, 30% being items. I'll be picking the moving truck up sometime between 2pm and 3pm, most likely. I just ran into one of the guys who lives upstairs, and he said he would go to pick it up with me (because I was afraid to drive it back here). The strong men will probably call around 4pm. It's 1:45 right now. This is going to be no problem at all. Sometimes I get nervous about the timing... but I think it will work out. I was planning to throw out my memory foam that I've had on my bed, because the last few times I changed the sheets I noticed that it had serious wear and tear over that last four years. I think I'll keep it for tonight, sleep here tonight for one last drunken hoorah before leaving this apartment tomorrow. I suffered my first moving-loss, too. I dropped my slow cooker while moving it into a box. The ceramic part cracked a little bit, and I plugged the metal part in just to check... and it didn't turn on. I actually cried... that was my favorite kitchen item. **UPDATE** I received a phone call from an old friend, and she needed serious support - so I decided to briefly put on hold the packing. I picked up the truck and the strong men came and packed up what I had, and the guy from upstairs said that he and a friend would help me with the rest of it tomorrow. I have to go get ready for dinner with Kat, then I'll be home for my last night here.
