07 July 2009: Update!
1.5 hours later, and the living room is 90% done (excluding furniture, of course), and the kitchen is 20%. I should have washed all those dishes yesterday... blah. What's Left: 10% Packable Living Room 80% Kitchen 90% Bedroom Time Remaining: 3-5hrs to pick up the truck 6-8hrs before my truck loading help arrives Lessons Learned: - Wash clothes and all dishes prior to the last day of packing. - Pack the bathroom last, so the shower is still set up to use when you're sweaty from packing. - Clothes and blankets make great fillers for safely packing fragile items! - A box full of DVDs and CDs weighs the same as a box full of books. I think that I should pretend to move a few times a year. Just pack everything up and then unpack it again. I throw out so much useless pack-rattiness when I move. My wardrobe is going to be significantly smaller... but I never wore most of that crap anyway. Hooray!
-Lisa. PS: I wish it wasn't so early. I could just be twittering or texting to feel like I am sharing information, but I don't want to wake anyone up if they have mobile alerts. Stupid time differences.
